The residents of Titahi Bay want the entire coast, from Onepoto to Kaumaungaratawhiri to be a
natural place where people can enjoy the environment and experience examples of early human activity.

Proposed Actions
That Rocky Bay be kept as a natural wetland, recreational area for diving and fishing.
Develop a plan to keep the rocky coast clean.
Improve the parking area and access to Rocky Bay.
Ensure the preservation of historical sites.
Plant specific native species to attract native birds.
Replace invasive exotic plants with native species.
Provide interpretive signs about heritage sites in the park.
